here are some outfits i compiled whilst endlessly browsing net-a-porter, brownsfashion and forever 21. though i tried to incorporate affordable yet stylish pieces, i was inevitably drawn to the grandeur of designer items. obviously the outfits should be viewed from left to right, row by row.
in the first layout, i included:
[first row, left to right]: fantastic Narciso Rodriguez trousers with incredibly crisp lines, a Paul and Joe Sister blue buttondown, Helmut Lang grey coat, Helmut Lang aurora scarf and dries van noten heels.
[second row, left to right]: alexander wang zip skirt (mentioned in the previous blog), helmut lang tank top, balenciaga leather jacket and marni heels.
another layout produced whilst i was desperately trying to avoid any studying.
first row, from left to right:
1. d&g organza dress: incredibly beautiful melange of colors and a very girly design.
2. vince shawl cardigan: very cozy-looking and breaks down the dress's obvious flirty aspect.
3. forever 21 crepe scarf: the color will definitely add a little something to the outfit and the texture is very beautiful.
4. the balenciaga fringe booties: so versatile and chic.
5. forever 21 ribbed tights
for this outfit, i attempted to add a little color, though i am more fond of a monochromatic palette. i was also interested in mixing the different textures of the tights, the scarf and the cardigan for a hopefully interesting effect.
[second row, left to right]:
1. balenciaga tulip skirt: simple design.
2. nation ltd burnout tee: apparently very soft, love the worn-in look
3. forever 21 hoodie: navy blue and black? check. hoodie and blazer? check. totally chic.
4. maison martin margiela blazer: perfect color for the entire outfit.
5. forever 21 heels: such a beautiful design and color. adds a little character, in my humble opinion.
